A downy body with the texture of a cumulus cloud from head to torso to wings · a cloud curl on top of its head · half-closed sleepy eyes and blushing cheeks · a chubby, heavy posture · a leather shoulder strap and a shield with a cloud-swirl pattern. As it levels up gold pauldrons, a buckled belt and a bigger shield are added. At high levels its lower body turns into gray-violet storm cloud with golden lightning running through it, and in the end it spreads cloud wings to both sides. It carries no weapon.
Habit
When the sun is strong it first shifts toward the side where its friends are sitting. Half the day it dozes, and the other half it plays at changing shape.
Catchphrase
"Rest a moment. I'll make the shade."
Weakness
If it soaks up rain for too long its movements grow sluggish. A strong wind makes it wobble too.
Proud of
Even on the hottest day, the shade under it is cool.
Likes
Friends napping, the small shade made under the sun, sprouts waiting for rain. It dislikes conversations scattered by harsh wind and leaving a friend alone in the rain.
Secret
It knows who is crying before the first small raindrop falls. The lightning is not from anger — it is the feelings it was holding back leaking out at that moment.
Gets on with
Goose and the Beanstalk — it becomes shade for the young sprouts, and stalk and cloud guard the front line in different ways.
Awkward with
Aquagoose — the one who pours rain, so its body thins whenever it gets close. In front of Aquagoose it quietly moves aside.
Weather & seasons
In summer its shade grows wide, and in winter it becomes a small shelter from the wind.
Cumulogoose looks more like a cloud when it stands still than when it runs up. On its round downy body, the beak, feet and sleepy eyes are clearly a goose's. On days when the sun is strong it sits next to a resting goose and makes a small shade. If someone thanks it, it turns its head and says it only wanted to be there. In the arena it makes no threatening sound. It gathers cloud on the side the attack comes from to dull the impact, and clears a path so scattered friends can find each other again. Even when the cloud thickens it never completely blocks the view ahead. What Cumulogoose hates most is for someone to get lost because of it. It is not some great being that rules the weather at will. When the wind is strong it wobbles too, and when it rains too much it grows heavy. Even so it does not leave. There is a rumor that one night it sat on top of a soaked nest and took the rain until morning, but whenever it hears the story it pretends to be sleepy.
