When angry it opens one layer at a time, in order — by the time it is truly furious the fifth is already out.

Catchphrase

"There's one more inside." It uses this line in nearly every situation — half truth, half bluff.

Weakness

The first through fourth are all relaxed; when the fifth comes out it is the one most surprised — being that angry is unfamiliar even to itself.

Proud of

That the fifth is the fiercest thing on the block. Acknowledged by its own mouth and by any neighbour who has met it.

Likes

It likes things nested, structures where hidden parts emerge one by one.

Secret

The fifth is in fact the real temperament and the first four are closer to wrappings around it — nobody thinks the order runs that way.

Gets on with

Snowgloose. They understand each other's "there's more inside" construction.

Galápagoos. Forever trying to split apart what it has carefully nested, which it does not appreciate.
