- White hair in a bun with a hairpin and a braided ribbon ยท a flowered hanbok jacket and skirt with tasseled charms ยท chicks and golden eggs in a bamboo basket on her back ยท a gnarled staff hung with bells ยท half-closed, gentle eyes ยท a full-grown granny. As she levels up the basket grows, the chicks multiply and the bells on her staff increase. At high levels she is wrapped in a glowing nest of wings with a closed light-bud on her staff, and in the end a lotus blooms wide while her wing tips turn the color of flame.

- After a fight she looks at her allies' feet first, in case a small egg is about to be stepped on.

- "Slowly now. There is still time left to begin."

- To save the one life in front of her, she opens a big gap in her own guard.

- She can tell apart the cries of every nest she has ever looked after.

- The first cry, a warmed nest, an egg that is never left alone. She dislikes counting life as numbers, rushed hatching and leaving an empty nest unattended.

- Goosiah โ while Goosiah sees the branches of the future, Samshin Grangoose tends the eggs from before those branches exist. Neither meddles in the other's work.

The first thing Samshin Grangoose does when she appears on the field is not look for an enemy. She checks who is left behind a fallen goose, whether any egg has rolled away, whether a frightened chick has crept under a wing. Her eyes look half closed, yet she never misses an egg wobbling even once. Her healing is not a miracle that makes a wound never have happened. It evens out the breathing of an injured goose and buys time to stand, so that it can take a step on its own again. That is why a goose that has rested under her wing says "I came back alive" before it says "I won." When the fight is over she is the last to leave; only after counting that everyone has gone home does she ring the small bell at the tip of her staff once. The eggs in the basket are not decoration but beginnings that have not yet decided what kind of goose they will be. If Goosiah is the one who sees the branches, Samshin Grangoose guards the place before they appear. In her rest time she sings the dullest lullaby in the world to the chicks, and they say there has never been a chick that heard it and stayed awake.
